New Zealand’s death toll from coronavirus continues to climb.
But the coronaviral outbreak has left the country at an unprecedented high, with the number of new cases rising dramatically.
The coronaviruses latest peak hit last month, when more than 8,000 cases were recorded in New Zealand.
There are now over 1,000 new cases in New England, where more than half of all deaths are linked to the virus.
The death toll in the region has soared to about 1,600.
Some of the victims have been buried for years.
But coronavirovirus experts have urged New Zealanders to be vigilant in the face of the threat.
A coronaviremia survey conducted last year found that one in six New Zealand residents had been infected, while the average time since being diagnosed was seven months.
It has been estimated that the country has a total of more than 2,000 infections a day, and the coronvirus has been responsible for many deaths.
New Zealand is one of the first countries to be declared free of the virus, but the coronabiosis rate has not been low since the virus was discovered in 1976.
